My Go to Outfit - Casual yet Classy!

Hello Everyone,
I thought about sharing my weekend with you guys, what I got up to, what outfit I wore and where I got it from. Can you believe that its the end of another weekend and the fact that it is Monday AGAIN today, scares me to death. Time is absolutely flying by... and i cannot even believe it!!

This weekend was a really good one as i done many exciting things, i spent my time in Glasgow city centre and had a fabulous experience. I went for dinner at a restaurant called
'All Bar One'
on bath street, Glasgow. The food was outstanding and the service was amazing. I definitely would go back right away... afterwords me and my boyfriend went for cocktails and really went the full way with it, plenty of Cosmos, Woo-Woos and every other cocktail you can imagine. I had an outstanding dinner when out too, but this post is meant to be about the fashion not about the food (but if your a bit like me and want a bit of food porn scroll down to the bottom of this post and you can see how exquisite it all was!)

As you would guess a night on the town required countless beauty products and an unimaginable amount of time was spent to make me look semi decent. I chose a slightly more casual outfit for the night to ensure I was comfortable yet felt slightly more dressed up, the majority of my outfit is pretty new so can probably still be purchased. My favourite thing to wear is something which all girls say 'jeans and a nice top' any opportunity I get I choose to wear this style of outfit, I just always feel its super easy to wear no matter what I am doing...

The 'nice top' i chose, is a little river island number... it took me three attempts to find a top that I actually thought would suit my body shape and make me feel confident and this Gold Boxy Metallic Top(£22)  definitely did it for me! The gold specks all through it made it appear more classy rather than casual which dressed my outfit up. The top is extremely good sizing, majority of the time i fit a size 10 in tops and this time was no different! 10 fitted perfectly! The fabric was really smooth and soft and did not irritate my skin which glittery tops usually do, the back of this top has the most beautiful cut out with a small strap across the top which i loved! My favourite thing for tops or dresses to have is a nice back. I think it makes an outfit. The top was also a nice 'box' style which meant it didn't at any point stick to my body and show too much of my bumps and lumps which is always a priority with clothes.

The top went hand in hand with the jeans i paired it with which are... can you guess... TopShop - Joni Jeans(£36) like every other human being on this planet, Joni jeans are my absolute favourite jeans to wear, i have purchased around 5/6 pairs of the black Joni Jeans since finding my undying love for them, due to the fact that I am a washing freak and constantly wash them so they end up more like dark grey jeans, which is not the look i like to go for. For this reason I constantly feel myself buying a pair because they are super comfy! Due to the fact I am extremely small, the Topshop Joni jeans are perfect as they come in their petite range too which helps us little people! Black is also a very good colour for slimming which is important to me as I am a little bottom heavy and have to admit that I constantly worry about my thighs which black jeans help mask.

Something which I do every time I head out anywhere a little more exciting I ALWAYS choose a pair of heels to wear, just to give me that little bit of height. Unfortunately the pair I choose are no longer available as I bought them last Christmas from Lipsy but the good thing is all Lipsy shoes are stunning and completely worth a look at! I would happily own every pair of Lipsy shoes and never get bored of them... I absolutely adored the heel on these shoes, the slim heel is something i absolutely adore right now, the gold colour of it added an extra bit of jazz to my outfit making it that bit more glam!

The outfit was topped off with my favourite item which is my Chanel bag in Cream (this was bought for me as a gift so I do not have any prices or availability options for it as it is not in Chanel's new lines, so i think its all down to searching and hunting if your aiming to find it) - the bag completed the outfit and pulled the colours in the top out which I aimed to do. The outfit altogether was super comfortable yet classy at the same time, which again, I love in an outfit as I live in Scotland and summer seems like it's never going to come, it is important on a night out to bring a coat or some sort of jacket. I always feel myself reaching for any black leather jacket or a camel coat for them extra cold nights.

I absolutely loved this outfit and will definitely reach for this amazing top again... getting ready for a night out is always stressful with the pampering and make-up mistakes which seem to always rear their heads but when you have a perfect outfit it makes things that little bit easier. I think a staple for every girls wardrobe is a good fitting pair of black jeans, it is extremely easy to style a classic skinny for any kind of event and I could not imagine living without them. Don't get me wrong, every girl loves to find the perfect dress for those extra special nights where you want to WOW but for those days where we want to feel and look great a pair of black super skinny jeans is the way to go.

I hope you enjoyed this little update about an outfit i love and wore on my perfect Saturday night. Thank you so much for reading!
Until next time,
Smileinnevaeh!x
